This team could not run it back, and had to make decisions on their roster. Love and Trust Forever
In 2014, Boston secured the number 6 pick with their own pick and had the 17th pick from Brooklyn. One need that Boston had heading inti the draft was a guard. With Rajon Rondo’s future in question, Courtney Lee heading into free agency, Boston needed a guard who could have an all-around game. Danny Ainge decided to fill this need with that 6th pick and drafted a player named Marcus Smart out of Oklahoma State. The Nightmare Is Over
The dreadful season is finally over. The Boston Celtics have been knocked out by the Brooklyn Nets 4 games to 1 in the first round of the playoffs. Even though it was obvious that the Celtics were overmatched by Kevin Durant, James Harden, Cryrie Irving, and the Brooklyn Nets, the season already before this was a failure. The Boston Celtics have been known as a team that has been in the hunt for a championship for the last 6 years. The Celtics have made it so close to just be in the NBA Finals many times but could not seal the deal. With the roller coaster type year that Boston has had so far at this point, you have to think in the back of your mind how do the Celtics get to that next level?
The Long Wait is Over
The long awaited wait is over and the question many people have been asking has been answered! Boston sports is coming back. Gov. Charlie Baker announced on February 25, 2021 that Fenway Park, Gillette Stadium, and TD Garden will reopen their doors to the fans on March 22, 2021. Read more on this big news!
