We are back with a long overdue episode of the Beantown Takes Podcast! We are discussing the Red Sox offseason along with our predictions for this upcoming season. We recapped the Patriots 2024 season along with what they should do this offseason. For the Celtics we debate on who will be the toughest match up for the defending world champions. Along with all of that we talk about the disaster of a season the Bruins have had, and we predict what they should do at the deadline (this podcast was recorded the day before the deadline). Finally, we welcome our newest co-host Ben to Beantown Takes!

We are back at the TD Garden for another big game for the Boston Celtics! It was a Sunday showdown between the last 2 NBA Champions! The Boston Celtics were taking on the Denver Nuggets! It was an all around great performance by the Celtics as the past NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown led the way! The NBA Finals MVP from 2023 Nikola Jokic was just shy of a triple double in the loss to Boston. This was a matchup that people really wanted to see in last years NBA Finals, could this be a preview of the 2025 NBA Finals?

To the Bruins fans that have been waiting patiently, we FINALLY have a Bruins game for you guys! Today's video, we went to see the Detroit Red Wings against the Boston Bruins. It was an original six matchup and the game went down to the wire. After a questionable no call in OT that towards the Bruins favor set up Pavel Zacha for a game winner. The Bruins pulled off the win on a final of 3-2! Can the B's turn things around and become a playoff contender?

We have an unexpected Patriots video for you today! Saturday night I got offered from a family like friend to go somewhere in Gillette Stadium that is only offered to season tickets members. Not going to spoil too much here, but let's just say, it was incredible! As for the game, well what else is new with the Patriots. Not much passing this game and not much offense. Miami did not look much better as they are missing Tua. The game went down to the wire but it was the Dolphins who pulled out with a 15-10 victory.

The Red Sox season is OVER! The Red Sox got the win on the last game of the 2024 season against the Tampa Bay Rays on a final score of 3-1. The Sox finish the season with an 81-81 record. Dead even at the .500 mark. They miss the playoffs once again and for the third straight year in a row, the ownership is on the hot seat with the fans. We also got to see Bri and Stephanie from "Our Bleeping City" at this game here! We are 22 days away from seeing the entire Celtics family again!

We are at the BOSTON CELTICS CHAMPIONSHIP PARADE! At first, I wanted to watch it by the TD Garden. But with a few things that happened, we had to make a move and we ended up front row on Boylston Street with a phenomenal view of the Celtics celebrating their 18th banner! This was an unreal run and an unforgettable season! Time for the road to banner 19 to begin!
