In today's video, it was the 3rd game of a big 3 game series between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. This is the biggest game of the season for both teams as they are fighting for a playoff spot or even the AL East Division. The Yankees came out with determination while the Red Sox came out with zero energy. The Yankees won this game on a blowout win 8-2.

We are finally back with episode 30 of the Beantown Takes Podcast! In this podcast here, Mike and I will be discussing Jarren Duran’s incident and the Red Sox overachieving this season. For the Patriots we discussed the Matthew Judon trade and what we expect the Patriots to look like this season. This is also the first time Mike, and I will be talking about Banner 18 for the Celtics. Finally, to wrap up this episode we will be mentioning the Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov signings along with one of our favorite Bruins now leaving for Vancouver in Jake DeBrusk.

We are at the BOSTON CELTICS CHAMPIONSHIP PARADE! At first, I wanted to watch it by the TD Garden. But with a few things that happened, we had to make a move and we ended up front row on Boylston Street with a phenomenal view of the Celtics celebrating their 18th banner! This was an unreal run and an unforgettable season! Time for the road to banner 19 to begin!

At first, I was going to hold off because of the past few disappointing postseasons for the Bruins. But I am GLAD I went to this game. The Boston Bruins open up the 2024 NHL Playoffs with a massive win against the rival Toronto Maple Leafs! It was a physical game throughout, but with 2 goals from Jake Debrusk, and a huge performance from Jeremy Swayman, the Boston Bruins pulled off a blowout win against the Maple Leafs to give them a 1-0 series lead!

It was a big day in Foxboro, Massachusetts. The NFL season is underway and not only are the New England Patriots back, but Tom Brady is back as well! The Patriots have decided to give Brady a farewell ceremony to thank him for all he has done for the organization and for an amazing career. It was great to see TB12 back in a Pats uniform during the ceremony rather than a Buccaneers jersey last time we saw him. As for the game, it was the Philadelphia Eagles vs the New England Patriots. New England fell into an early 16-0 deficit and came back to make it a close game down to the wire. Although 1 mistake ended up costing them a miracle comeback to the reigning NFC champs as the Patriots fall 25-20 in week 1. Mac Jones looked great, Kendrick Bourne looked great, and the formula on offense worked for the most part! There should definitely be some optimism for this team this season!
